Isaac Helgens

Isaac comes from a family of musicians and artists. Taking after his dad he started
drumming young but seriously committed at 15. Since then, he’s been playing with acts
that have gained regional attention and awards, as well as acting on stage, screen, and
voice work under his name as well as Rev. Todd Wilkinson.
Playing open-handed as a dominant righty is unusual in the pro space, but it always felt
natural to him. After looking for the perfect cymbals for his setup he decided on
Soultone. The quality and variety in their lines and the attention to detail was key.
“They’re serious cymbals for serious drummers,” Isaac said. “They worked with me to
find the sound I wanted and made the adjustments I needed to get it perfect.”
