Robert Lee Hutchison AKA “The Drum Machine” was born in Lafayette, Indiana in October, 1988.

Rob's love for music started that day but when he was 10 yrs old, he found his calling in drumming. Since then, you can find Rob practicing and creating unique drum covers with his own creative grooves any free moment he gets. Rob has played drums for Christian Ministries and enjoys jamming with many musicians of various genres. In 2021 Rob moved to Williamsport, Indiana with his wife Courtney where he built his garage studio. Recently he added a recording studio in their home and added his Soultone’s setup. In 2024 Soultone graciously welcomed Robert to the Soultone Cymbal family, and he could not be more thankful. Robert thanks God for his musical talent and cannot wait to see where this journey takes him next.
