Venezuelan professional drummer who began his passion for playing the instrument at an early age, playing in local projects. Then he continued studying music formally and that is when he starts his professional career participating in new projects of various genres of popular and symphonic music; and working in the field of music pedagogy in Yamaha Music Latin America schools.
Principally, he has been a drummer and percussionist performing live for concerts, musical theater, tours and national and international festivals.
He also recorded drums in the productions of his personal projects: Big Mandrake (ska-punk) on the album "La Brigada del Ruido", Majarete Sound Machine (disco-funk) on the album "Real, Orgánico y de Baile/Afrodisíaco" and percussions on "Percusión Experimental Caracas" on the album "Con Todos" and and Trabuco Contrapunto (Latin rock) on the single "Tiempo"
As an independent drummer he has collaborated for shows by the artists Fabián Santamaría (Colombian folcklore & rock), Ruben Gómez (ex menudo), Mónaco (Spain), Romphonics, Desensamblados, Trabuco Contrapunto, Mirna Ríos, Euler Guillén , A punto Cinco (solid fest ), Bajo Profundo, among others.
Along with the artistic career, from 2004 to the present Eloy expands the musical work in an important function and full of great satisfactions, projection and influence, within the teaching of music by the hand of the Yamaha schools in Latin America being part of the department of academic coordinators in the Popular Music Course (PMC) courses and as a teacher of the drum course of the Yamaha music education system . With this work, he supports the growth of the education system in his country and in the Central and South American region, through tours where he gives different seminars to support the team of teachers in the region in schools in Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.
His musical training was carried out in the chair of symphonic percussion directed by maestro Jorge Dayoub Bittar of the José Ángel Lamas School of Music, and in personalized drum classes with Professor Miguel Hernández
Currently Eloy continues to work as part of the team of coordinators of the Yamaha Latin America schools and actively participates in the ensemble of the city of Caracas "Los Hermanos Narturales", in the band of the Colombian artist "Fabián Santamaría", in the Latin rock band "Trabuco Contrapunto " and in the international ska-punk band "Big Mandrake".
