Eli Simon was born on June 5th 1991 in North Baltimore Ohio. While Eli always loved music and the drums his musical career did not begin until he was in 5th grade and began learning the snare drum in the Elementary School band. Eli continued to play snare drum in the band and in November of his 7th grade year he sat down on his first drum kit. Drums always came very natural to Eli, before long he was playing along to his favorite Led-Zeppelin and Guns N’ Roses songs. During the winter of 2008 Eli began his first band “Razed Perception” with 5 of his friends from school. The band which was a mix of metal, funk and hard rock, recorded a 7 song demo and played together until September of 2008. Eli played in a couple more bands and jammed with many musicians before he formed “Trucido” in May of 2009 with guitarist Sam Darnall. The band’s first EP “Converge To Dismantle” was released in May of 2010. In November of 2010 "Trucido" fired their vocalist due to musical direction. The band then picked up a new vocalist and changed to thier current band name "Deliver The City". Eli Simon has been noted for his quick feet work, blast beats, and unique rhythms. While “Deliver The City” is still a relatively young band they have gained a quickly growing fan base from their constant show playing. “Soultone Cymbals are absolutely amazing; they offer a sound that any drummer of any style would love.
