Founder, songwriter and drummer for British Heavy Metal band ArknSaw, and former drummer for Kallous. Richard also known as ‘RJ’ took to the drums from the age of 12. Gaining fast momentum and experience behind the kit, his passion was only driven more from the adrenaline kick that came from gigging and touring. Though Metal is his primary genre, his diverse experience gained over the years has also taught him to play a variety of music from Latin and Jazz, to Rock and Funk.

Alongside pushing for a professional career in music, RJ previously worked as a private drum tutor and currently works as a solo artist. He currently spends a lot of time writing new music as a primary focus for both ArknSaw and his upcoming solo album but also puts time into home production, art and website design, merchandise design and collaboration.

RJ’s musical range does not start and end with drums. He is also experienced with guitar, bass and keyboard which he currently uses to advance in every new song and eventual album. His current main objective is ArknSaw and pushing it as far as it will go. He is also hoping to start his own studio which willfocus on production and drum covers both online and physically.
