I've been working as a session drummer for various independent artists in the US and I mainly play for McLean Bible Church in the Washington DC area. The story starts when I was seven years old, my uncle who lived in Bogota Colombia sent me my first shiny black lacquer drumkit that smelled like the mass-produced poplar shells they were, but I really started playing drums in church when I was 12after I joined my church’s youth group.I was young with a huge egocoming into our first rehearsal, but I was humbled quickly after figuring out that I didn’t know what a back beat was even after 4 years of drumming or how to even tune a drumkit! Fast forward and now I’m drumming for McLean Bible Church with pastor David Platt and I’ve gone on an international tour through Ukraine with Liya Ministries and the world renown violinist Yevgeniy Dovgalyuk.
