Alex Fidel is a Filipino drummer currently based in Melbourne, Australia. He has been performing professionally for the past 20 years. Alex studied the Diploma in the Creative and Performing Musical Arts at The University of the Philippines and majored in percussion and drums. Alex then started touring the Hard Rock Cafe circuit in Jakarta and Bali, Indonesia. Soon after, he supported and recorded with different solo acts and bands from various genres (Chedi.com, Escape, Parliament Syndicate, Velcro, Lynn Sherman Show, Emcy Corteza, Gary Valenciano, and more) and has toured different countries including Brunei, Saipan, and Hong Kong. He has also performed with the MANILA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA. Currently residing in Melbourne, Australia, he has had the opportunity to perform with the "DAISIE MAY BAND", flamenco guitarist "GERARD MAPSTONE", Violinist "SHENZO GREGORIO", "ANDREW LOWDEN and THE CLOVER", ALEXIS and the MISSING PIECES", has also recorded an album with "RHIANNON HART & THE UHM-AHHS" and "THE SUNSET JUNK, and is currently doing gigs with "HOWQUA".

Alex is also coming up with his own project jazz funk originals band called LIKHA.
