Lucas Gordon
Lucas Gordon is a touring drummer, studio drummer, drum-tech, and tour manager from Denver, CO. Born on December 23, 1988 he first studied under former UCLA marching band director Conrad Hannover in 2003. With a background in funk, jazz, and fusion Lucas’ range varies with American Pop, and Rock influences. He began professionally drumming at the age of 18 and holds a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Business Management with a minor in Music Industries Studies. Lucas has toured The United States extensively as a drummer for pop group Speakeasy Tiger appearing at Monolith Music Festival 2009, The Vans Warped Tour in the summer of 2010 and also toured with the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival featuring Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed in the fall of 2010. He has recorded and worked with such producers as JP Manza (Natasha Bedingfield, TV on The Radio), Lee Miles (Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Tickle me Pink, Puddle of Mudd), Jason Livermore (Rise Against, Flobots),and Brad Nyght (Audio Dallas Studios, The Summer Soundtrack) and also endorses Creation Drum Company in Rutherford, New Jersey.
