William M. Gregory

My name is William M. Gregory. I am a native of Elizabeth City, N.C., and well known drummer on the east coast area. I am married to the lovely Jacqueline Gregory whose a strong supporter of my career. I currently play drums for Galilee Missionary Baptist church, the United Women of Praise, and the Gospel Innovations. I’ve played for Dorothy Norwood, the Sensational Nightingales, the Elizabeth City State marching band, the College of the Albemarle concert band in Elizabeth City NC. I studied under DR.Floyd R. Robinson retired percussion professor at Elizabeth City State University. I also studied with Dr. Joe Procopio a former music education instructor at the College of the Albemarle here in Elizabeth City NC. This training opened the door for me to play the drums for such musicals as Bye; Bye, Birdie; Blood Brothers; Gospell; Smokin Joe Café; Little Shop of Horrors; and Ain’t Misbehavin. I’ve earned the National Collegiate Minority Leadership Award, and the Who’s Who Among Students in Junior Colleges. Playing the drums is a passion like no other. I like to thank Iki and the Soul tone Cymbals for allowing me to be apart of their cymbal family. I have to say their cymbals sound great. They have wide selection to choose from. The custom and custom brilliant series I have are amazing. They project well and aren’t over bearing but gives you the power whenever you have to lay into them. I encourage anyone to give Soul tone Cymbals a try you want be sorry. Also they have sticks too and they are good tools to use. I have the 7Bs 5Bs and they work for me, and I am sure they will work for you give them a try. Hats off to SOULTONE CYMBALS AND STICKS.
