Tromecko Calhoun

Tromecko Calhoun, a native of Ozark, Alabama, began his journey of music at the early age of 4. As a “military brat”, traveling was an everyday part of his life; a part that played an important part in his growth as a well-rounded musician. Tromecko, or “Tre” as he’s known, had a natural inclination to the drums and explored that passion at the tender age of 4 when he started out playing for his grandmother’s quartet group. By age six he was back on the road, an experience which gave him the opportunity to experience the variety of musical styles that were out there. By age 16, Tre honed his skills and fed his musical hunger by playing with artists such as James Bignon, Richard Samllwood, Ron Winans, Vickie Winans, Kurt Carr, Virtue, and even participated in the Gospel Music Workshop of America, known as GMWA. His professional resume goes on to include artists such as: Bobby Jones, Ginuine, Kelly Price, Stephen Hurd, Byron Cage, Kirk Fanklin, and Silk. Presently, Tre is the drummer for the artists Sean Simmonds, Meme Jones, Shekinah & Glory Adia, Unanimous and R&B Soul artist Noel Gourdin
