Timothy Pass

Timothy Pass was born July 6, 1988 in Mobile, Alabama, by the best parents of Timothy Pass Sr. and Tracy Pass. Tim’s journey in playing the drums started out very strange. He started playing in the sixth grade after hearing about his school starting a band. He decided to give band a try and chose to play drums. Band was something new to him and he was the only drummer in the school at that time.

By joining the middle school band he learned how to play the drums by ear by watching his teacher teach him how to play the “Hey Song”. But by being the son of a father in the Navy, it was time to move to Orange Park, FL. And there he continued playing the drums in Orange Park Jr. High School where he had a lot of trouble trying to read music because he was only taught how to play be ear. Soon he began to learn how to read music at Orange Park High School where he joined the Orange Park Raider Band and made the drumline his freshman year on 5th Bass Drum. While attending high school his mother offered him a drumset for Christmas but he told her all he wants is a marching snare drum.

All Tim cared about was marching band and the drumline. But his mother bought it anyways and he started to practice everyday with cds. After falling in love with the drumset Tim got offered a chance to play for his church on a 5th Sunday for Hip-Hop Sunday. He decided to play a song from Kirk Franklin’s cd “Rebirth” and everyone noticed that God blessed him with the gift of music. And about a year after that he was offered a position to play the drums for his current church “Open Arm Christian Fellowship”.

Tim is under the ministry of the best pastor in Jacksonville, FL, by the name of Pastor Leofric W. Thomas Sr. He has been with his pastor for about over 12yrs, and would rather have no other pastor but Pastor Thomas. Tim has also been playing the drumset for 4yrs now and has been blessed by God to have been able to play behind Pastor AJ Wright, (Currently) Pastor and Recording Artist Leofric W. Thomas Sr., Sherrod Brown known as Prince Rod, Jermaine Taylor, (Currently) Drummer & MD- Radikal Prayze, and (Currently) Eric Witherspoon & NuJudah 360. He dreams to be like some of his favorite drummers and be an inspiration to kids that want to do the same thing. He plans on attending Full Sail University and get a degree in Recording Arts. Also Tim has been blessed to be able to Endorse: Soultone Cymbals, DC California Custom Drums and many more to come. Be Blessed And Keep God First!!!
