Mit 10 Jahren startet Simeon mit dem Schlagzeug spielen. Der Rhythmus liegt ihm im Blut
und die Passion bringt ihn von Anfang an schnell voran.
In der Sekundarschule nimmt er an einem Spezialprogramm für Musikbegabte teil und
verbessert sein Talent stetig. Am schweizerischen Drums- und Percussion Wettbewerb in
Altishofen schafft er es 2013 bis auf den zweiten Platz. Nebenbei spielt er in diversen
Formationen. Von Jazzensembles über Bigbands, bis hin zu Pop / Rock Formationen und
Drumensembles. Des Weiteren wirkt er in diversen Musikprojekten mit.
Anfangs 2013 gründet er zusammen mit zwei Freunden die Band „The Rising Lights“, mit
welcher er noch im gleichen Jahr den ersten Musikcontest gewinnt und dadurch in den
legendären 571 Studios in Zürich aufnehmen kann. Die Band gewinnt 2014 den
Jugendkulturpreis Frauenfeld. Es folgt der dritte Platz am „Local Heroes“ Contest in
Österreich, wo sich die Band gegen über 340 Bands durchsetzt.
Unterdessen hat Simeon schon zahlreiche Konzerte im In- und Ausland gespielt. Die
Debutsingle „Love You Too Much“ wird von diversen regionalen Radiostationen gespielt und
das Musikvideo schafft es sogar in die SRF Selection und auf MTV online.
2017 bringt die Band ihre erste EP (The Rising Lights) auf den Markt.

When Simeon was ten years old he started playing the drums. He felt the rhythm in his blood
and his passion gradually pushed him up to next levels. He participated in a special program
for musically talented teenagers during high school, where he improved his talent daily.
At Switzerlandʼs drums & percussion competition in 2013, Simeon reached second place. In
addition, he played in different formations. He participated in jazz-ensembles, big bands,
pop-rock formations, as well as drum ensembles.
In 2013, his band called “The Rising Lights” was founded. In the same year. The Rising
Lights won their first band contest and recorded their first single „Bullies” in the legendary
„571 Studios“ in Zurich.
The next year, they won the youth-culture-price in Frauenfeld. Following after this success,
they reached third place out of 340 bands at „Local-Heroes“-Contest in Austria.
Meanwhile Simeon plays numerous concerts in Switzerland and abroad. The debut single
„Love You Too Much“ was played in several local Radio stations and the music video was
streamed by srf selection and MTV online.
In 2017, the Band releases their first EP (The Rising Lights).
