Sean Haezebrouck has been playing the drums for over 30 years. His career began playing punk rock in the suburbs of Detroit where he took private lessons for 9 years. Initially wanting to be a session drummer, Sean studied jazz and played in a drum line learning to read music and play everything from bass drum to xylophone.

After bouncing around the country with his family Sean ended up in Austin, TX where he joined local psych-rockers The Dry Season.

Most recently Sean has played live and on record with noir chanteuse Betty X, indie-rockers The Bids, (formerly M.D. and The Bids), noise rock band Other Horrible Animals, and has played live with mega-producer John Fryer’s Black Needle Noise, (with Betty X and Anjela Piccard).

2020 has seen Sean writing tunes and playing drums on two digital releases by The Bids, vocals on upcoming tracks from industrial noise mongers Sick Jokes and percussion on Betty X’s latest release “Black Fire”. He plays Ludwig and Gretsch drums and is very happy about playing Soultone Cymbals exclusively.
