Ryan Rice grew up in Southern Maryland with his family who has had musical history for up to 5 generations. Ryan has been playing music since he was 4 years old. He started with guitar then later took on bass, piano, drums, mandolin, and singing. After graduating high school, he played in Nashville for several years, meeting and connecting with artists such as David Haywood (Lady Antebellum), Taylor Swift’s backup singer Liz Huett, Grant Fisher, Jana Kramer, and many more. Due to certain circumstances, Ryan moved back to his hometown and with some friends created a country rock band. At the same time he took on DJ’ing and preformed acoustic gigs wherever he could. Him and a friend started a 2 piece acoustic band called No Solicitors. After getting much recognition, the duo formed a band called Tonight’s Alibi. Currently Ryan plays for Mawcore, a Pennsylvanian rock band who’s making wakes in the industry. Ryan’s style of drumming can not be classified into any specific genre. He can play anything from R&B to Country, Punk to Gospel, and anything in between. Ryan plays with Orange County Drums and uses Soultone’s Custom Brilliant and Extreme series cymbals with Custom series hi-hats. You can find him on YouTube and his bands on YouTube and Facebook.
