"Raimel is a drummer originally from Venezuela but currently living in North Carolina. His family was musically gifted and he started taking drum lessons from his older brother at an early age. When he was 9 years old, he joined the local music conservatory school for kids in Bolivar City, Venezuela.
His musical influences are made up of three different styles; the Venezuelan folklore music (Latin Music), the Church environment he grew up in (Modern Worship, and Gospel) and the heavy beats of Alternative/Rock that he loves listening to. Raimel became a regular drummer at his church, but he also went on to form his first band at the age of 15.
At age of 19 he moved to North Carolina, U.S. where he continued to play at different churches in the area. Through music Raimel manage to make new friends and expend his musical talent. Since 2006, Raimel has been an independent drummer actively collaborating on stage and in the studio with several artist/bands including Brian Wahl Band, The Ethridge Sisters, The Gone Ghosts, Zen Groove Arkest, and Mosaic."
