Born and raised in DFW, Texas. Phillip Wood bought his first drum set in December 2006. After moving to Arkansas not long after, Phillip met several friends who shared his love for technical and melodic death metal and formed his first bands.
His influences include; George Kollias of Nile, Shannon Lucas formerly of The Black Dahlia Murder, and Inferno of Behemoth.
Phillip Wood has three different projects; Tel Anorath, The Weeping Gate, as well as his solo project Ensepulchre. Phillip spends much of his free time in his home studio, tracking for bands and recording for his on current projects.
