Nicole Bandoquillo

St. Kio (pronounced saint key-OH) is the solo project of Southern California artist Nicole Bandoquillo. A self-taught drummer and independent multi-instrumentalist, Nicole writes, sings, produces, and performs every instrument in St. Kio’s music.

Blending pop sensibility with shoegaze, post-punk, new wave, grunge, and noise rock, St. Kio builds immersive songs that pair melodic immediacy with textured guitars, driving rhythms, and emotional intensity. Her work explores love, identity, mental health, personal growth, and the shifting realities of relationships.

Beyond her own project, Nicole performs as a drummer for Dolly Ave and kelz, with past credits including The Shakes and MARG.
