Nate Espey

Hi, my name is Nate Espey. I have been drumming for a total of 10 years now. Growing up, music was a huge part of my life. Mom was into old school country. Dad was into old school rock and metal. So that left me with a wide variety of options when it came to music. Early on I noticed the drummers from bands over other band members. Seeing those guys hammer the drums just lit a fire in me. That is why I picked up the sticks. My biggest influences are men like Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, Morgan Rose, Sean Kinney, and Shannon Larkin. But that’s just for my rock and metal side. On the other side that I refer to as my “Yee Yee” side, I looked up to guys like Rich Redmond, Ben Sims, Mike Palmer, and Dusty Saxton.

Soultone has been on my radar for a while and I finally decided I wanted to become a part of the family after seeing Steven Adler was an endorser as well. As someone who grew up on Guns N Roses. I knew being endorsed by a drumming giant like Steven that this was the right brand for me.
