Mike Higbie (aka Lint) was born and raised in Riverside California and started playing drums at the age of twelve. His 35 year professional career started as the pit drummer/percussionist for musical theatre. Classical, rock, funk, R&B, marching, Latin, metal and especially jazz are some of the many genres played and studied, creating Lint's own unique style. Years of studio experience and live performances, sharing the stage with the likes of "Red Hot Chili Peppers", "Dramarama", "Flock of Seagulls", "Lynch Mob" and "General Public" have forged his solid, entertaining time keeping. Lint's "way deep in da pocket " feel earned him his nickname. His playing is influenced by Buddy Rich, Dave Weckl, Terry Bozzio, Steve Smith, Eric Moore, Aaron Spears and Nick Smith.
