Born in Kawayan, Philippines and raised in London Ontario, Canada, Matthew Johnson is an up and coming metal drummer currently hitting the skins in Necroptic Anomaly as a founding member as well as a few other upcoming projects. At the current age of 32 Matthew has been drumming for 20 years having started at the age of 13 and has shifted away from the punk rock drumming style into a more heavy setting. With emphasis on thundering double kicking and machine gun-like blastbeats, the personal influences of bands like Cryptopsy, Circle Of Dead Children, Gorerotted, Beyond Creation and the Berzerker can be seen.
