Luis Carlos Ugalde Ortiz was born on May 30th, 1986. He started by joining a school band at the early age of ten, however it wasn’t until he was fifteen years old when he realized the drums were his true passion. He started his musical career in music academies as a hobbie, from there on he joined several metal and punk bands. It was then when he knew that drumming would be more than a hobbie to him, he then got to learn and know about the essence of the music and proceeded to create his own style. In late 2008 he joined brutal death metal bands in which begin his presentations in several concerts at a local level, enjoying every minute of them. In 2011 he joins Advent of Bedlam, which is a very experienced band within Costa Rican metal scene. Luis has been playing with Advent of Bedlam in several of the main metal festivals. Luis has several challenges ahead of him which motivate him to continue his hard and constant work to keep achieving his personal goals.
