Livio "Liv" Volpe
Livio Volpe was born on May 8, 1989 on the beautiful Belo Horizonte city -Brazil. He has been playing drums since 2007 at age 18 years old. What kicked off his interest and his journey with the drums was seeing Dennis Chambers in a live concert with guitarist Mike Stern. Right on the next day, he started having lessons with local Brazilian drummer Flávio Garcia, who showed him the way into music, most of the Brazilian rhythms and also the local music scene. In 2009, Lívio moved to Düsseldorf, Germany in a bold attempt to meet a different culture and get more musical experience.
Building his way into Düsseldorf`s music scene, Lívio is currently working with electro pop band "Swave" as the drummer and producer.
Main influences are: Will Kennedy, Ronald Bruner, Ray Luzier, Tony Royster, Dennis Chambers, Max Martin (producer), StarGate (producer), Stewart Price (producer) George Duke and many others.
