Kyle William Anderson

Cannibal Ramblers

Kyle Anderson was born and raised in Pawtucket, RI but spent a majority of his youth in Minnesota where he crafted his musical style. He is a self taught musician and a graduate of The New England Institute of Art in Boston, MA where he earned his associates degree in Audio Production. He started playing drums at a young age and hitting the clubs well before he was allowed in without an adult. This fueled his passion for performance giving him the real life experience he needed in order to dial in his technique and learn the ins and outs of being a musician. Currently he is the Co-Owner of Major Destroyer Records which is a creative outlet used to release and promote lesser known, passionate, original music. It is heavily focused on pushing the boundaries of heavy, ambient and abstract music. For more info visit MajorDestroyer.com. Also he is the full time drummer for New England based band the Cannibal Ramblers, a punk abstract delta blues band who have shared stages with B.B King, T Model Ford, Leo Bud Welch and others of the like. For more information visit CannibalRamblers.com. Aside from being full time with the Ramblers he has and continues to sit in with countless bands such as Joe Fletcher and The Wrong Reasons, Ten Foot Polecats, Leo Bud Welch, Vudu Sister, Big Jon Short, Big Eyed Rabbit, Jonah Tolchin, and King Sick A Billy. In 2013 he released his first EP titled “This Strain of Mine” a project 5 years in the making which he performed, arranged and mixed. He is currently working on his first full length to be released in 2015. Kyle is a proud endorser of Soultone Cymbals because they complement his style and playing making it easy for him to be creative while also having great tone and precision on and off the stage.
