Began playing drums at the age of 14 while living at Yokota AFB, Japan.
While living in Athens, Greece (1968-69) Switched to Bass guitar but was short lived due to the band needs for a rock drummer.
In Merced, CA. worked as the house band at numerous venues working 5-6 nights as cover band.
Moving to Spokane, WA. (and welcomed by Mt. St. Helens eruption) Kosta continued to switch back and forth from drums to bass.
With Java Kola, Kosta lead the band to gigs sharing the stage with National and International acts like: Loverboy, Johnny Winter (2x), Foreigner, Jonny Lange, Derek Trucks Band, Doobie Brothers, Heart by Heart, The Tubes and Curtis Salgado.
Currently drumming for his band Mojo Box (Voodoo Rock) and playing bass with Kosta la Vista (Electric Blues), Kosta is staying quite busy performing very actively in the Spokane area as well as light management work with Dogtown 420 (Rock) and his own 3 bands.
Kosta also created and plays with A Rave Up: Yardbirds Tribute Band
