Kerri Berry
Kerri Berry (Kerri Lisiak), is originally from New Zealand and currently resides in Los Angeles. She met Marek Lisiak in 2005, and shortly afterwards they started writing songs together and got married.
In 2010 at a Halloween jam at a friend's house, the drummer left early. Kerri knew some of the basics of drumming, so she took the opportunity to sit in on the drums. She held down the beat well, impressing the experienced musicians at the jam. The next day Marek bought her a set of drums, and formed their original rock band, Wild Ride.
Marek is the front-man/lead guitar/vocals, Kerri Berry on drums/vocals, Mark Ludmer on bass. Wild Ride has played over 500 shows and toured across the USA, Europe, and the South Pacific.
Wild Ride has released six albums, and their music has been accepted into the prestigious Grammys, in the rock category. They’ve won awards at the Red Light District Radio Show, Ventura County Music Awards and The Akademia. They’ve been fortunate to share the stage with many well-known artists, such as; WAR, Eric Burdon, Berlin, Third World, Dale Bozzio, Emmylou Harris, Texas Tornados, The Outlaws, Albert Lee, Gene Loves Jezebel, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, L.A. Guns, Bulletboys, and more. They also toured with Richie Ramone (of The Ramones).
Wild Ride has been a guest onstage at the annual Gitarowy Rekord Guinnessa event in Poland with over 7k people in attendance, and are invited back onstage for the 2020 event, which hopes to beat the World Record again for the largest number of guitarists playing live together.
