Kailee “Birdie” Vallas was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. She showed an early interest in music when she received her first piano and drum set. Her love of music was nurtured through a wide variety of music genres always being played at home from Stevie Wonder to Metallica. At the age of five she began playing the piano and soon after added clarinet, drums, bass guitar, guitar, and violin. She is still continuing to learn new instruments, however drums and bass will always be her main passions.
She has played throughout California for several cover bands and original bands, both as a permanent artist and a stand in artist and is very active in the local music scene. At the age of eighteen she played at a Presidential rally in front of 16,000+ people. She has recorded original music with two bands in the Sacramento region and the songs have been played on local popular radio stations.
She is currently playing in an original band in the Sacramento area. Her passion for music spans all genres of music and she loves sharing that music passion with her drum students most of whom are already performing in bands of their own.
