I’m Joshua Geercken and this is my bio. I started playing drums at the age of 14. I was gifted my first drum set by my mentor at the time and it was such a blessing and ever since then I’ve never stopped playing. When I was younger I had ADHD and being a child with ADHD it’s hard. My mother noticed that if I was beating my hands on the table making beats that I could concentrate but if not I was able to do a thing. I Strongly believe that it’s in my blood to play. It’s a God given talent and I’m trying to sharpen it! My biggest influences are Mike Portnoy, Luke Holland, Anika niles, Thomas Lang and Benny Greb! These are the people that have influenced my playing in such a way that I feel as if I’ve melted it all together to make my style. As a worship drummer at my church there are so many styles that you have to basically be able to play everything. I’m blessed to be a part of the Soultone family!
