Joseph Jankowski
Joseph Thomas Sung Jin Jankowski is a percussionist born in Seoul, South Korea. He currently lives in Metro Detroit and attends Plymouth Canton Community Schools (PCCS). He started playing drums when he was 12 years old and continues his musical studies at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. He strives to expand on his musical versatility in not only drum set, but concert percussion such as the marimba and timpani. He plays in the Plymouth-Canton Wind Ensemble, John Coltrane Jazz Ensemble and played two seasons on vibraphone and marimba in the Plymouth-Canton front ensemble. He is currently the drum set player in the front ensemble for the 2017 PCMB marching season. He has played in multiple orchestra pits with Forever After Productions (Snow White, Little Shop of Horrors, Into the Woods, A Christmas Carol, etc.) and has performed with local Detroit artists such as Jae Retch, Ryan Demers and Keagan Weaver (MEANDTHEDOG).
