Jorge A. Avila was born and raised in San Benito Texas in the Rio Grande Valley down in Deep South Texas, he been working on his craft at the early age of eight years old. Jorge has had the opportunity to play with many christan recording artists, such as, Marcos Witt, Harold & Elena, Johnathan Lewis(Upper Room), and Damaris Guerra. He has had the opportunity to open up for Big Daddy Weave, Jeremy Camp, Israel Houghton, Planet Shakers, Todd Agnew, Deluge band, and has played numerous christan music festivals around south texas. Currently Jorge plays drums for Livingway Worship,@Livingwayworship and @Livingwayfamilychurch. He also plays an assortment of instruments such as guitar, bass, piano, and leads in vocals. He is also the drummer for Scatter the Earth, a side project he started with his life time friends. Jorge enjoys playing a variety of music and is not shy to learning any different genre of music and loves the challenge of anything that puts him to the test.
