James Mueller is a talented Los Angeles-based drummer with a love of all music styles and genres. James began his musical journey at the early age of four, taking guitar lessons in his home town of Brighton, Michigan. At age nine he began studying piano and drums and built a solid foundation of musical theory and technique for his future musical endeavors.

By the time James was in high school, drums and percussion had become his primary focus. He went on to study music at Central Michigan University, playing with many different artists, bands, and ensembles, where he developed his ability to play a wide range of styles on drums and other percussive instruments.

Upon receiving his music degree from CMU, James moved to Los Angeles to pursue music on a larger scale. Since moving to LA, James has recorded and performed with a roster of talented artists and musicians such as Alfredo Herz (David Archuleta), Matt McJunkins (A Perfect Circle, Ashes Divide, 30 Seconds to Mars), Mat Dauzat (Kelly Osbourne, Hydrovibe), Rik Barba (Ankla, Noelia), and many others.
