Jake Rabin
Jake Rabin (December 10, 1986) was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in a suburb of Dallas, Texas before moving to Austin to attend the University of Texas. Jake became obsessed with the drums at a young age, playing on pots, pans, and barstools, finally receiving his first kit at 11 years old. Growing up, Jake’s biggest influences were Travis Barker, Tre Cool, Riley Breckenridge, Chris Hornbrook, Francis Mark, Brandon Saller and Aaron Gillespie, among many others. After graduating from the University of Texas, Jake stayed in Austin, where he currently works with three full-time bands and does live/studio session work for hire. Jake currently plays with: Demi the Daredevil (signed to The Orchard), Slop Musket (affiliated with Crushkill Recordings/Eyedea) and Those Damn Eyes.
Jake has also played/worked with: Latasha Lee and the Black Ties (Austin, TX – Red Bull Records), Juliette (Dallas, TX – signed to Third String Records), Kicks & Khords (Austin, TX), Subrosa Union (El Paso, TX), Avarice (Austin, TX), Another Dying Day (Dallas, TX) and 5 Years and Counting (Austin, TX – Signed to InVogue Records).
