Jaime was born on july 19th 1982, started playing drums in 1996, the next step was to study music and in 1999 he started being mentor by Mauricio Gomez costa rican drummer graduated from Los Angeles Music Academy.

Jaime started playing in bands by the end of the year 2000. His first band in Costa Rica was Akasha (Alternative Rock), he played in this band until the year 2002, after that he started to participate in smaller musical projects. In 2005 he started the band Dosis - k, a Ska/fusion band where he played until 2008. Later on that year he started to play with the band Cocofunka ( Reggae y Funk Latino), actually he continues playing with Cocofunka and released his first album. He also plays with Javier Arce y los de alla, this is a musical ensemble formed by diferent pro - musicians among with Javier Arce singer of Cocofunka, he keesp active and plays some other different proyects in the Costa Rican music scene.
