Jaime Morales is the co-owner of Planet Mischief, a music production company in Los Angeles. He began his music career as a trumpet player in middle school and began playing drums in 9th grade. He has played trumpet and drums in numerous bands in Los Angeles and Orange County, playing various genres ranging from Rock to Hip-hop to Cumbias.

He currently drums for Blood Sells, a progressive metal band and Melodisea, an acoustic/electronic ensemble that performs electronic, dance music. Both bands are Planet Mischief productions that include co-owner Shannon Callahan on lead vocals as well as guitar and keyboards.

Jaime has spent time working with several Los Angeles Unified School District music departments as a brass instructor. When time permits Jaime DJs under the name Planet Rocco around Southern California. He has been the resident DJ at Avignone’s bar in Montrose playing old school music on their Flashback Friday night for over a year.

Jaime and Planet Mischief proudly endorse Soultone Cymbals today because of the dedication the team at Soultone puts into creating quality cymbals of course. It was at a show at the Viper Room, however, that Jaime fell in love with Soultone Cymbals. Their friends Zolto, an outstanding metal band from Los Angeles, featuring drummer Lonny Pasillas used Soultone Cymbals and that was that. Planet Mischief now uses Soultone Cymbals exclusively on all their studio and stage productions.
