A New York native, Greg grew up in the churches of North Carolina. This is where he developed a love for music at an early age with an undeniable passion for drums. His dad, being an accomplished musician himself noticed his drive and immediately decided to encourage and cultivate his innate skills. Greg sharpened and honed his craft while playing with a local gospel group that his dad sang with. He began playing professionally in his sophomore year in high school. Among Greg's many accomplishments were playing with the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University's performance of the Black Nativity, and has performed with bands who opened up for artists such as Donnie McClurkin, Shirley Caesar, Kurt Carr, Keith Wonderboy Johnson and has performed with Ernest Pugh and Steve Lawrence. Greg currently resides in Greensboro, NC where he attends Calvary Christian Center under the teachings of Pastor Vince Hairston. Greg?s many influences have bee Calvin Napper, Calvin Rodgers, Dennis Chambers and Chris Dave; but to hear him tell it, his biggest influence has been his dad and Total Silence's manager, Gregory L. Henderson.
