Gary Randolph

Gary Randolph is originally from East Orange, NJ and began playing drums at 9 years old as well as other

musical instruments in elementary school including Alto, Tenor Saxophones and Trumpet however his

passion was drums. While serving in the US Army he continued to play in bands while stationed in

Georgia, Kansas, and Germany. Upon returning to East Orange he returned to his Alma mater to instruct

the drumline and jazz drummers. Following in his brother Jimi’s foot steps he also began to write and

produce music and was given the opportunity to learn how to engineer in recording studio owned by

Meekaaeel Muhammad and Khalis Bayan (Ronald Bell) of the legendary R&B group Kool and The Gang.

Gary relocated to Florida in 2002 and has utilized his technical and musical skills to serve the Lord. His

music style is influenced by Earth Wind and Fire, Kirk Franklin, Kool and The Gang, Wayman Tisdale,

Luther Vandross, Motown. “I will use my talents and gifts to serve GOD because He is the one who gave

me the talent”. Gary can be seen playing his Soultone Cymbals on The Christian Television Network

“Derrick Williams and The Gospel Voice”.
