Frank White

Frank White III, was born December 30th 1986 in Jackson, Ms to Mr. Frank White Jr. and Ms. Barbara White( Green). I am the youngest of four children. I have one sister and two brothers. I attended the public schools in Jackson, Ms. and I am a graduate of Forest Hill High School. I am the drummer for The Greater Tree Of Life Baptist Church. I am also the drummer for Grady Champion and the Grady Champion Revue Band. I have been playing drums since the age of seven years old .I started playing professionally at the age of ten for my church Victory Metropolitan Full Gospel Baptist Church. My drum talent is a gift from God. I took drum lessons at Richards Music at the age of nine only to learn how to read the drum music. I have played in the marching band at Whitten Middle School also at Forest Hill High School, I additionally played in the Jazz Band in high school. I had the opportunity to play for a band from Vicksburg, Ms. The Project Band. I have also performed with a great blues singer by the name of Rick Lawson. I also won the Drum Off at Guitar Center in Jackson, Ms in 2006, and was flown to Orlando Florida for the finals. I came in second place in Orlando Florida I thank God for allowing me to have that opportunity. I have recently recorded a live CD and DVD at the 9:30 Blues Café, with Grady Champion and the Grady Champion Revue. We are looking forward to going to Japan to perform in the near future. I am currently teaching private lessons.

I currently reside in Jackson, Ms. One of my goals as a professional musician is to make a name for myself in the music industry.
