Nakas” in Greece and then Berklee College of Music. After getting a Bachelors in “Information

Phil’s drumming is unexpected, full of musicality and experimental attitude. It has style and
defines today’s modern drumming. Over the last few years Phil has played with Athens
upcoming hot artist-rocker “D3lta” and the Black&Blue, achieving national recognition. Along
with his popularity in the national drum community, Phil can be found playing with a broad
assortment of musicians, all demanding his versatile and immaculate playing style.
You can find him in Jazz settings playing with guitarist Nikos Symvoulidhs or with his metal
band with The Voice Greece finalist Stelios Psarogiannhs. In 2018 he participated in
“International Jazz Day” festival in Athens, playing with the band of nationally acclaimed double
bassist Kostas Kostantinou.
Phil writes, records, and releases his own solo records with his band “The Macro”, “Sweet
Loretta” being one such release. He is also an avid hip hop producer active in the field of sound
production and engineering.
Phil is now an active student in Berklee College of Music in Boston under the instruction of John
Ramsey and recently had a friendly jam session with bass legend Victor Wooten. The future
keeps looking more and more promising for Phil.
