Ezequiel Zeke Rengifo
Ezequiel Zeke Rengifo was born in 1982 in La Plata - Buenos Aires - Argentina.
He began playing drums at twelve. At that age the most influence was Queen , Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Dream Theater and started to work as an self-taught musician. But then He continued to grow up and began studying as a professional musician playing in many local bands as a versatile drummer of different styles going from the Argentine folklore to Jazz Improvisation and works as independent artist.
In his extensive academic training he studied at the Conservatory of Music Gilardo Gilardi of La Plata; in EMU School of Jazz - endorsed by IASJ (International Association of Schools of Jazz); CEM (Centro de Estudios Musicales , La Plata); Escuela de Arte de Berisso and UnLa (Universidad Nacional de Lanús)
Since 2004 he is teaching at different institutions and cultural centers in the area. At present he teaches in his own studio drums
Zeke was professionally trained in musical composition and also on drums and percussion by notable argentine class musicians such as: Ruben Duca, Pepi Taveira, Pablo Rivas, Lapo Gesaghi to name a few.
He has collaborated, recorded, and performed in tours in Argentina, Ecuador, Perú, Colombia, España, between others of them.
He played drums in great and prestigious theaters including stadiums such as Teatro Argentino de La Plata, Coliseo Podestá de La Plata, Teatro Astral de Buenos Aires, Abbey Road and Teatro Auditórium Mar del Plata (Argentina), Plaza de Toros (Ecuador), Teatro Colsubsidio (Colombia), Teatro Circo(Orihuela, España), Auditorio Villa Real (Villarreal- España) Auditorio de Naron (Naron, España) and many other important concert halls and pubs like The Cavern and Cemento (BA)
Her fusion of Rock, Funk, Heavy Metal, Progressive, Jazz and Latin rhythms Percussion contribute to her unique style!

Currently playing with M.E.N.T.A.L. (Mente Enferma No Teme Ante Locuras), Decohen (Symphonic Progressive Rock) Kochinote (Funk Rock Fusion) and Dr. Queen (a Queen´s tribute band)
