Hi I'm Elliot from Oxford, UK. I first realised that I wanted to start learning to play the drums when my Dad played me Black Sabbath at the age of 8. I remember being absoloutely blown away by Bill Ward's playing and his jazzy approach to rock and metal drumming.

I waited until I was about 12 before my parents bought me my first drum kit for about £40. It was really old and even had animal skins still on the rack and floor toms. It was awesome and I wish I still had it really! I soon began taking lessons shortly after, conveniently, my drum teacher happened to live on the same road as me. He's an amazing Jazz drummer but at that age I just wanted to learn Heavy metal.

In 2007 at the age of 18 I co-founded Desert Storm and over the last decade we have toured the UK and Europe on many occassions, as well as playing festivals such as Desertfest, Bloodstock Open Air Festival, and Roadkill festival (BE) to name but a few.

I am very excited to start playing my Soultone cymbals from this point onwards!

My main influences are: Bill Ward, John Bonham, Ian Paice, and Jean Paul Gaster.
