I first developed an interest in drumming at the age of 12. Throughout my teenage years, I played in bands and really developed a passion for listening and playing to music.

To progress my passion further I studied at Drumtech and then studied music at university. From this point I pursued a career in both Music tuition and session drumming. This developed into the opening of my own music tuition business as co founder of XYZ Music Academy LTD. This establishment now teaches over 700 students in the UK.

I have been fortunate enough to have taught some very gifted players who have gone on to pursue their goals such as playing in the West end, joining the army as full time percussionists and

gaining scholarships to study at prestigious music settings.

Since my business has become more established, I have turned my focus back towards writing and performing original music. My current project is drumming for the heavy metal band ‘This Dying Hour’. We had our first release in this line up in 2020 and have many more releases in the pipeline.

I discovered Soultone several years ago and have always been intrigued to see more of the product and really hear what they all sound like. Having received my first set of cymbals I am really astonished at their musicality. They fit every type of session that I play and the brand offer a range of sounds that encourages creativity and experimentation.

Iki and his team are very communicative. They show great passion for the product and always show enthusiasm about my musical endeavours. I’m looking forward to bringing something unique to this wonderful brand!
