Clinton M. Jackson

Clinton Maurice Jackson has risen to the top of the Philadelphia music scene and sits on the throne as one of the city’s most talented and versatile drummers. As a young child, he possessed a natural talent that

had him playing in his local church by age ten. Moving forward 20 plus

years, Clinton has enhanced his skills through formal lessons and playing various genres - coming a long way from sets at the local church to playing alongside local favorites such as Maimouna Yousef (Roots Crew), Tony Moore and Jehovah’s Chosen to international figures such as Marvin Sapp, Black Ice and Jaguar Wright. His career took a leap when he was selected at an audition and asked to play for Columbia recording artist Jade Anderson from London. This tour put Clinton on the global stage as he appeared on Japan’s first annual MTV Music awards.

To his credit, Clinton has also played alongside:

Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, Kim Burrell, Tracy Shy, Daryl Coley, Yolanda Adams, Karen Clark-Sheard, Beverly Crawford, Donnie McKlurkin

Philadelphia Mass Choir, West Chester University Gospel Choir

Steve Middleton, Tony Fields and New Testament, Deana Ransom, Carol Riddick, Lady Alma, Dyshon Warren (Diddy’s Making of the Band) and many more!

In addition to the many concert gigs, studio sessions, and live recordings under his belt, Clinton has provided background music for plays, has produced and written music, and has created his own production company. He was also the studio drummer for Direct Hits Studio from 2001-2003. When he is not on tour, the stage, or in the studio, Clinton can be heard on the radio or seen on your television screen. He is currently the drummer for The Baptist Worship Center Church located in Philadelphia, where Bishop Millicent Hunter is the Pastor. In 2000, he was the resident drummer for the cable talk show MIXDOWN hosted by legendary Philadelphia DJ, Tiffany Bacon.

Current endorsements include Vic Firth Drumsticks and Soultone Cymbals.
