Chad Nelson’s love for drumming began at seven years of age, starting with a cheap drum set and pizza pans for cymbals. At 17 years of age, he moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles and spent the late 80’s and early 90’s in the Sunset Strip music scene, playing and recording with numerous musicians and bands. After leaving the music scene to become a child psychologist in the Baltimore area, where he continues to practice, Chad has returned to music and is now the drummer for the rock band Method of Friction.
