Casey Allen
Casey began playing drums at age 11. At age 15, he began taking private lessons with Ivan Hampden (Luther Vandross, Beyoncé, Roberta Flack, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Lopez, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Wonder, Little Richard, Gladys Knight, Vanessa Williams). At age 17, he joined Embracing Goodbye, and later signed to Driven Music Group in 2009. Embracing Goodbye's "Rock & Roll Ain't Dead" was released by Driven and distributed by Warner Music Group in 2010. Embracing Goodbye shared the stage with multiple national acts, such as Pillar, Anberlin, August Burns Red, Emery, Haste The Day, Oh Sleeper, The Chariot, Project 86, He Is Legend, and more.
In 2014, Casey formed half of the folk pop duo, Season & Snare. Season & Snare performed often on Periscope, and went on to be the first band to go viral with a live performance on Periscope, garnering the attention of Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, and T-Mobile’s John Legere. In 2016, Season & Snare won a Shorty award at The Times Center in New York City from Al Roker.
Casey currently sings, writes, and produces as pop act HeartMouth. HeartMouth releases music regularly. Casey also currently drums in rock band The Bronze Age.
Casey has an Associate's degree in music, a Bachelor's degree in communication from North Carolina State University, and teaches private music lessons. He also works as a producer and session musician/vocalist.
