Cade began to play the drums at an early age. Throughout his childhood, he would watch drummers of all genres all the while honing his style. He received his first kit as a gift when he was 15 and spent the next few years learning proper fundamentals. Cade joined his first band at age 18 with several friends who called themselves “Commission” and played primarily traditional gospel music. Several years went by and Cade joined a band called “Out of the Blue” and played traditional country and southern rock. While playing with Out of the Blue, Cade and his best friend Eric Leger, started a joint venture together by focusing on Texas rock and more southern music. This band is his current and is called Midnight Encore. Midnight Encore performs in and around Central Louisiana primarily at parties, fairs and festivals. In 2015, Cade signed an endorsement deal with Soultone Cymbals. "When i first heard these cymbals, I knew I had to have them. They are and have the most musical tone of any cymbal i've ever heard. I would put them up against any cymbal from any manufacturer and my Soultone's would absolutely blow them out of the water." Cade, enjoying making music, and of his beginnings as a gospel drummer, donated his first kit to a local prison ministry where they continue to use them to this day. Cade plays DW drums and hardware, Soultone cymbals, Evans drumheads, and Vater drumsticks.
