Bronson Maijala

Born November 24th, 1987 in Tacoma, Washington, Bronson began playing on a broken Pawn-Shop snare drum at age 11. He enrolled in the School band and has been classically trained for 10 years in the Snare Drum, Tympani, and various mallet instruments. He has had no more than a few weeks of formal instruction on drum set and has since learned by reading books and listening to all styles of music regardless of personal preference. After High School he went on to play on a partial scholarship in the Wind Ensembles at California State University of Fullerton, Fullerton Junior College, and toured with the Mt. San Antonio College to Hawaii, as well as playing the Tympani's at Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

Bronson has had work playing the drum set for Pit Crews in Plays, House of Miracles Nigerian Church, as well as Argentinean legend Leo Dan. For a very short while, he was even playing on buckets in Santa Monica. He currently gives lessons to beginning and intermediate drum students throughout Orange County and plays latin percussion in the Funk/Soul/Rock’n’Roll band “Ginger”.
