Brian Baker was born and raised in sunny San Diego and immediately showed a passion for drums at a young age, flipping his food bowls upside down and beating them with his spoons.As the years progressed so did his passion for drums, he was heavily influenced by drummers such as Jimmy "the rev" Sullivan, Vinnie Paul, Mike Portnoy to name a few. After a short stent of jazz lessons he felt ready to play the way he wanted to. Brian found himself as a "drum for hire" playing with, and drum teching for multiple local Socal bands and playing Churches on sundays when time would allow. He now finds himself a California transplant in Michigan where he is now known as the Michigan Drum Devil, playing all styles from bluegrass to progressive rock.
