Andrew Milbank is from Fort Worth, Texas and joined the Soultone Cymbals family at age 18! Andrew started playing the drumset at the age of 11 but had the passion of percussion burning inside of him from a very young age. He has been heavily involved in music programs in and out of school over the past 7 years but is completely self-taught on the kit.
Aside from playing drumset, he is also an experienced orchestral percussionist and played the tenors for 3 years for the TCHS marching band, one of the top ranked marching bands in the state at the time. During his high school career he qualified for a letterman less than 3 months into his freshman year by receiving a division 1 rating on a class 1 difficulty snare drum solo and contributed to countless wins in both full marching band and drumline competitions. Andrew was promoted to section leader during his senior year but soon left the program to pursue his independent musical endeavors.
Beginning in 2015, Andrew started a YouTube channel which features High-Quality drum covers and other drum related videos. He is also beginning to do session work for local artists starting in 2016. Among other various projects he is consistently working on, Andrew is now in the process of composing original music in which he plans to release in the fall of 2016.
When not sitting behind the drumset, Andrew spends his free time playing guitar and bass, studying music production and audio engineering, and maintaining a small home studio. He hopes to some day own a professional, state-of-the-art recording studio and travel all over the world to play music. His musical adventure has only just begun!
