Ale Gonzalez
Alejandro Gonzalez is a Salvadoran drummer, producer, sound engineer, and educator
based in Florida. Known for his musicality, sensitivity, and rhythmic versatility, Alejandro
blends traditional Latin roots with a deep love for jazz, rock, pop, and R&B—creating a
sound that’s both grounded and globally inspired.
He has performed on internationally renowned stages including the Newport Jazz
Festival, Gotham Jazz Festival, El Salvador Jazz Festival, West Palm Beach Jazz
Festival, and South Florida Jazz Festival. His talent has taken him to venues such as
Hard Rock Stadium, Actor’s Playhouse Theater, Funky Biscuit, MargaritaVille
Theater, and the Hard Rock Café, sharing the stage with celebrated musicians like
Danilo Pérez, Bria Skonberg, Tal Cohen, Jose Gola, and Nicole Yarling.
Alejandro’s musical journey began at the age of 10 in his home country, where he
performed with his family band “Jireh” in church settings. By 14, he was not only a
student but also a teacher at Fundación Ancalmo, and a performer in the school’s
chamber orchestra—playing in prestigious theaters across El Salvador and Guatemala.
His international development continued through advanced training and workshops,
including his participation in the Berklee Global Jazz Institute with Danilo Pérez, and
multiple years at the Newport Jazz Festival as part of their education program. He’s
studied under top educators such as Ian Froman, Frank Bellucci, Jahaziel Arrocha,
and Rodolfo Zuniga.
As a studio musician and engineer, Alejandro has contributed to over 19 singles and 5
EPs for Salvadoran and international artists. He’s worked out of top-tier studios like
DVK Studios, House of Hits Miami, 555 Entertainment, Panela Studios, HUB
Studios Miami, and with Grammy-winning producer Vinny Venditto. Alejandro
performed in the EP Eres Perfecta which was recognized by the Recording
Academy’s Behind the Record initiative in 2021, and he was named Best Drummer at
the Subterranica NY Awards (2018).
Currently, Alejandro is active in Florida’s vibrant music scene—performing, producing,
and teaching at institutions like Broward College and the Live School of Music. His
mission is simple: to serve every note with purpose and passion, and to keep growing
through every beat.
