Abidemi "BdotSticks" Adetunji
Abidemi "Bdot Sticks" Adetunji was raised in Nigeria and was exposed to music from a young age. Because his parents were gospel singers, Abidemi was greatly impacted by the rich tapestry of sounds that filled their home.
Early on, Abidemi's talent was apparent, and by the time he got to high school, he was playing with the school band as well as other neighbourhood bands. Early in life, Abidemi performed live with several local bands. His breakthrough came when he was hired as the drummer for Gentleman Dele Taiwo, Samson Adekanmbi, (Sammy Pee). He was the brain behind all the percussion arrangements both on studio and live performances of Femi Oladele (Femi Solar).. Because of his powerful yet subtle playing, Abidemi became highly sought-after in the Nigerian music scenes of Oyo State and Lagos State.
Through his drumming, Abidemi has consistently maintained a close relationship with his faith in addition to his secular performances. From an early age, he has been a committed part of the worship team. His ability to combine contemporary and traditional gospel drumming styles has inspired many people in the crowd and enhanced the worship atmosphere.
