Scott Schorr is the founder of record label and music publishing company, Lazy Bones Recordings. In this capacity, he has a successful history as a Drummer, Music Producer, Arranger and Songwriter.

Scott is one of the most respected producers in Progressive Rock. He has produced recordings for some of the most high profile and reputable artists in the genre including Alan White (YES), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Marco Minnemann (Joe Satriani, Steven Wilson) and numerous albums from the legendary, Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel).

Scott is also a noted Producer and Drummer of indie artists in the genres of Rock/Pop, Singer-Songwriters, Hard Rock, Hip-Hop and Electronica. This portion of the Lazy Bones catalog was purchased by BMG/Sony.

Many of these Schorr-Produced records have been selected as “Top Album of the Year,” and “Top 10 Albums of the Year,” in numerous music industry publications.

Scott is also the drummer and Producer of the duo, MFTJ, with Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa, Joe Satriani, Devin Townsend).

In addition to music producing, Scott is an accomplished songwriter. His music, along with Schorr-Produced songs, have been placed in over 500+ film and television projects as well as commercials for prestigious worldwide brands. Some of those placements include: ABC, 20th Century Fox, Activision, Apple, CBS, Columbia Pictures, Disney, Ford, HBO, Honda, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MGM, Microsoft, MTV, NASCAR, NBC, NHL, Nike, Nissan, Oakley, Paramount Pictures, Showtime, Sony Pictures, Starbuck, Suzuki, T-Mobile, Touchstone Video, Toyota, Universal and Warner Bros.
